YangshanHenan Fm
Type Locality and Naming
The type section is located at Wushanglou on the west slope of Dayangshan (Mt.), about 10 km southeast of Nanfangji, Gushi County, Henan. It was named by Nie Zongsheng et al. in 1959.
[NOTE: Carboniferous Lexicon Column 44 (Shaanxi collision belt) had a Yangshan Fm between Yaxi Fm and Xianyao Fm, which has a type section at Yangshan (unlike this one) => therefore, named these as "YangshanHenan" and "YangshanShaanxi" (maybe Chinese characters are different for these?)]
